About Ice Age Journeys
Ice Age Journeys is an archaeological project researching Late Upper Palaeolithic (Stone Age) activity at the Farndon Fields site, Newark-On-Trent, Nottinghamshire, UK.
FARI Archaeology has been awarded a grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund to help discover more about the Stone Age hunters who lived 14,000 years ago.
Flint tools have been found on open ground between Farndon and Newark in Nottinghamshire, offering a fascinating link to Creswell Crags, Cheddar Gorge and other sites across Europe.
